Robert Juliat TIBO range receives Etoile du SIEL Award in Paris

French lighting manufacturer, Robert Juliat has been awarded an "Etoile du SIEL" at the SIEL show in Paris last week for its new TIBO range of luminaires.

"The TIBO family, which began with our TIBO LED profile at PLASA 2012, has now expanded with the arrival of some new additions! We can now present a comprehensive range of modular fixtures that provides a complete solution to any lighting need," says Robert Juliat CEO, François Juliat.

With Tibo, Robert Juliat has introduced the idea of Creative Concept Light in which, like the notes in a symphony, the designer is offered a 'mix and match' choice of lightsource (LED, tungsten halogen or discharge), lens type (Fresnel or profile) and dramatic or conventional body colours. Designers can choose from this wide selection to compose endless lighting solutions to suit any application, whether it is for theatre, architecture, display or retail purposes.

The new additions to the range include two new profiles with options for HID discharge or variable white LED light sources, and a Fresnel version available with the full range of tungsten halogen, discharge or LED sources.

Also present on the Robert Juliat stand was a prototype of the new ZEP 150W LED Fresnel. Based on the ZEP profile technology its 150W LED engine is available in two colour temperatures (3200K and 6000K) and complements the ZEP 640 profile series. Its large 200mm lens maximises light output while its 360° rotating barndoors, low energy consumption and low maintenance requirements make it ideal for television studios, theatres, events and architectural use.
